2010 Preliminary Rulebook Updates
Posted:
Tuesday, January 12, 2010
DRIVERS, it was back in
mid-December that we all met to discuss the
concerns with the Speedpark and our
respective divisions. At that time the
message was clear that change had to be made
to fix some issues we had. Since that
time the Sault Area Racing Association Board
of Directors has met numerous times to look
for solutions and together put together some
rules that we feel can help us improve upon
what we currently have.
What you will
read below is just a start. Once we
have inserted these changes into our
existing rulebook we will be reviewing them
as a Board and looking for anything we have
missed, or any grey areas that need to be
defined clearly.
A final rulebook
will be released in the coming weeks.
If you have any
comments, concerns or suggestions about the
info below please contact Gerry Liscumb Jr.
via e-mail at
gliscumb@hotmail.com

MANDATORY
for all drivers in 2010
December 24, 2009
At the rules discussion this past Sunday it
was determined that Raceceiver,
one-way communication devices will be
MANDTORY for all drivers this 2010
season at the Kinross Speedpark.
"This small communication device is
revolutionizing the industry, making the
sport safer for both the drivers and
officials. It saves time by allowing
officials to talk to all the drivers at the
same time and lets you get on to more
racing. The officials can warn drivers about
accidents or debris on the track. "
SARA Board Members will be investigating
pricing options, alternatives and points of
purchase and will release that information
ASAP.
As a facility we feel this is just another
step in improving the safety and efficiency
of the program we already run.
Please watch this site as the 2010
Complete Rulebook will be released early
in January 2010.
