The 2008 season at the Kinross Speedpark will mark the
3rd season of operation for the
Sault Area Racing Association,
or commonly referred to as SARA.
SARA is a non-profit business organized in the state of
Michigan who's goal is to provide continuous racing
entertainment and to maintain a safe and clean
environment in which any member, of any family, can
experience the fun and excitement of short-track racing.
The responsibility of the Board, and of the SARA
members, is to provide racing that is safe, fair
competitive, and economically possible for it's members.
Each year fans and drivers a like are encouraged to
become a member of the Association. For a yearly
fee of $35 you can become a member of the Association.
By becoming a member each person is then permitted to
vote on matters pertaining to the Association and is
also admitted into the pit area for a reduced fee of $17
(savings of $5 each night). This fee goes a long
way in opening the gates each and every Friday Night.
